New training network with leading attosecond researchers

We are excited to be involved in MEDEA, a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network, funded in the framework of the Horizon 2020 program. MEDEA - Molecular Electron Dynamics Investigated by Intense Fields and Attosecond Pulses - brings together leading companies and prestigious universities and research centres to work on the development of state-of-the-art ultrafast laser sources and advanced detection systems.

Photek will be working alongside Politecnico Milano, DESY and Aarhus University, among others, to provide inter-disciplinary training for Early Stage Researchers recruited through the network. The exciting and ambitious projects include investigations of attosecond dynamics in conformer-selected amino acids and hole oscillation in diatomic and triatomic molecules. Recruitment is currently ongoing.

More information about the individual work packages and other partners in the project, can be found on the MEDEA website: http://www.medea-horizon2020.eu/
